Yara is an Associate at Argentum Law and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales, admitted in November 2024. She has a strong background in private client advisory, including succession planning, family office structuring and cross-border wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, whilst also operating as a generalist across a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory and operational matters.

Prior to joining Argentum Law, Yara trained and qualified at Al Tamimi & Company, where she spent the majority of her practice within the firm’s Private Client team. In this role, she advised HNWIs and family offices on estate and succession planning, including DIFC and ADGM foundations, family governance frameworks and cross-border settlements, and led inheritance and probate matters spanning the GCC, UK and EU.

More recently, Yara has supported a broad range of UAE advisory matters, including e-commerce platform structuring and consumer protection analysis and liability models, immigration and visa strategy, commercial agency registration and renewal pathways, Shareholder dispute support, cease-and-desist and evidence-gathering exercises, and broader regulatory and operational matters. Her earlier exposure in Banking & Finance also included supporting DIFC licensing, regulatory due diligence, change-in-control applications and compliance with DFSA and UAE onshore frameworks.

Yara also brings an entrepreneurial perspective, having previously co-founded and served as Chief Financial Officer of a cruelty-free skincare brand. She led financial strategy, investor reporting and international supplier negotiations, giving her first-hand insight into the challenges faced by founders and family-owned businesses.
