Avinash is a corporate and commercial lawyer with over a decade of experience advising founders, startups, scale-ups, and institutional clients across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. He began his career at J. Sagar Associates, a leading law firm in India, where he advised on M&A, private equity, foreign investment, and securities law matters. Avinash advises clients across all industries and sectors throughout the business lifecycle on corporate structuring, shareholder arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory matters, and complex commercial contracts. He also leads the firm’s start-up practice. His work includes advising on innovative and technology-enabled business models, particularly where emerging technologies and digital assets intersect with evolving regulatory frameworks. He works closely with founders and management teams to deliver practical, commercially focused legal solutions.

• Advising a government-backed entrepreneurship center on its full suite of commercial and strategic contracts, and acting as lead legal advisor on its flagship annual entrepreneurship forum, covering all legal aspects of sponsorships, partnerships, event production, ticketing, venue, and speaker and artist arrangements.
• Advising regional operating businesses on corporate structuring, shareholder arrangements, franchising, licensing, supplier and commercial contracts, and cross-border expansion into new markets, including leading multi-jurisdictional negotiations.
• Advising a regional hotel operator on corporate structuring, shareholder matters, hotel management and branding agreements, operational contracts, and cross-border expansion strategies.
• Advising emerging technology and digital asset businesses on multi-jurisdictional structuring and regulatory strategy, including jurisdictional mapping, regulatory risk analysis, drafting legal memoranda, and coordination with local counsel to implement global operating structures.
